Dr Ravindran Kumeran heads the Surgical Gastro intestinal specialty. He graduated in 1990 from the Madras Medical College and underwent post graduate surgical higher training in the United Kingdom. During his 10 year period of training in the UK he did his Masters in Surgical Sciences from the University of London. He has been awarded Fellowship in the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh FRCS Ed, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow FRCS(Glasg), and Intercollegiate Board in General Surgery FRSC (Gen. Surg.). In addition he has also been awarded the Diplomate of National Board by the National Board of Examinations New Delhi. Since his return to India in 2003 he specializes in KEY HOLE (laparoscopy) surgery.
